RECIPES

LOVE

L - Learn - Learn to let God love you....just as you are. Learn that He will bring about the necessary changes in you in His time and in His way

O - Omit - Omit judgement...toward yourself and others. Receive mercy and be merciful.

V - Veer - Veer away from strife of any kind. Let God right all wrongs in His time and in His way.

E - Emulate - Emulate God by loving others....just as they are. He will bring about the necessary changes in them in His time and in His way.

JOY

J  - Jesus - Jesus is Lord. He has triumphed over all evil for you. He shall see the fruit of His work.

O - Obedience - Walk in obedience to all that Jesus sends you through the Holy  Spirit... grace, comfort, guidance, and tasks of love.

Y - You - Become fully you as God created you, not what anyone else thinks you should beor wants you to be. Please God and you, and those who love God will be pleased.

PEACE

P - Power - Give Jesus all power over your life, knowing that God has already done that and you have no enemy but your own rebellion.

E - Easy - Take it easy, knowing that Jesus is Lord! Your perfection is His responsibility.

A - Acceptance - Greet all circumstances with acceptance, not trying to believe that God willed everything that happens, but knowing that in every circumstance He will make you a conqueror over it or bring good out of it for you in some way eventually.

C - Cheerful - Be cheerful. Joy is your final destination. Don't ever forget that.

E - Enthusiasm - Approach each day with enthusiasm. The lessons learned will bring you at least one step farther on your way to total Joy.

PATIENCE

P - Persevere - Don't give up when you see things going badly. You may be just around the bend in the road from your goal. Trust the Shepherd who leads you.

A - Act - Act at all times as if God is in control of every aspect of your life. If you made Jesus your Lord, He is!

T - Think - Think on the promises of God. Cast away fear and doubt by replacing them with God's Word.

I - Insight - During your journey toward your goal, ask God to give you insight. Insight makes the journey more interesting and shortens the time it takes you to complete it.

E - Encourage - Encourage everyone you meet and thus make discouragement flee from your own path.

N - Name - Name every circumstance along your way "Meaningful" ...and it will become so.

C - Comfort - Comfort all those you meet on the way. They too may be longing for something they cannot yet see.

E - Enjoy - Enjoy the different stages of your journey. A rest stop for you might be journey's end to someone else. Enjoy being there with them.

KINDNESS

K - Kill - Kill all impulses of revenge for wrongs done to you or others. Kill all impulses to tease or torment.

I  - Insight - Ask God for insight into the lives of those around you, their needs, fears, wounds, and talents.

N - Needs - Determine to fulfill any need you see if it is in your power to do so.

D - Do - Do for others what you would want them to do for you if you were in their situation.

N - Name - Name everyone you meet "Child of God for whom Jesus died"...and treat them accordingly.

E - Empathize - Take the insight you have received about others and empathize with them. Let your heart feel what your head has learned.

S - Say - Say only nice things to those around you. Give compliments and encouragement. If you are in a position of authority, discipline gently.

S - Stand - Stand in the place of Jesus to those who are placed in your path. You are His Body in the earth. Forgive, and help, and love.

GOODNESS

G - Give - Give yourself up to the Holy Spirit to be transformed into the image of the Son of God.

O - Order - Order your life so that your activities..... Physically, mentally, and emotionally... are healthy and bring no harm to yourself or others.

O - Open - Be open to others. Don't be defensive and miss opportunities to love.

D - Dare - Dare to act on your convictions. Don't worry about making a mistake. If you are wrong, God will comfort you, teach you, and make it all come out right in the end.

N - Notice - Notice the needs of those around you. Ask God to meet those needs. Be willing to be used by Him to do it.

E - Enjoy - Enjoy seeing others receive from God.

S - Sensitive - Be sensitive to the criticism which others give you by examining your actions and motives. Be willing to change.

S - Submit - Submit yourself to God, willing yourself to be fully His and refusing any idols of Power, Security, Fame, or Wealth.

FAITH

F - Faith - Fellowship with God. Get to know Him; the more you know Him the more you will love Him. Spend time reading the Bible and singing spiritual songs and communicating with Him by writing Him letters or talking out loud to Him about everything that concerns you. Then be still and give Him time to talk back!

A - Act - Act on the Word of God in obedience to His will.

I  - Imitate - Imitate Jesus as much as you see to do in your personal relationship with the Father. Pray often.

T - Trust - Trust that God loves you and will someday make all things new...in you and for you.

H - Help - Help others because God loves them too. Faith without works is dead.

GENTLENESS

G - Give - Give others the benefit of the doubt concerning their motives.

E - Express - Express sympathy for the pain of those around you.

N - Never - Never be harsh or judgmental of others.

T - Tell - Tell people the good things you see or hear about them.

L - Let - Let gossip pass you by. Never repeat it or dwell on it in your thought life.

E - Encourage - Encourage everyone you meet to become the best that is in them to be.

N - Need - Be humble and share your needs with others. Give others the gift of letting them help you and know that they are needed.

E - Enjoy - Enjoy others. When you are with someone, tune in to them. Don't let your mind wander to other things. This person is important to Jesus.

S - Sympathize - Sympathize with wisdom, reminding the hurt one that God loves them and will one day wipe all tears away. Give them hope.

S - Servant - Be willing to be a servant.

SELF CONTROL

S - Separate - Separate yourself from occasions of temptation.

E - Encourage - Encourage yourself by reading the Word of God every day.

L - Love - Love yourself and determine to be the best you can be.

F - Free - Ask God to set you free from bad habits and the inner hurts and fears which caused them.

C - Care - Care about your body and your mind enough to watch what you put in them.

O - Outdoors - Spend time outdoors enjoying God's nature. Fresh air and sunshine are good for you... Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

N -Needs - Consider your needs and make sure they are met. Neglecting needs will usually lead to overindulgence eventually.

T - Treat - Treat yourself to a luxury every now and then. God loves you and wants you to enjoy life. Enjoyment comes with moderation. Be neither abstinent or indulgent in treats.

R - Read - Read the Bible and biographies of people who are masters of self discipline. Realize that you too can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

O - Oneness - Let the Holy Spirit bring about oneness , making you one with the Father and Son.

L - Live - Live as though God is the only audience to your life.

Relationships

Love - God is Love. You are now His child so your true nature is Love. Set your will to be one with your true nature.

Kindness - Decide to be kind. Think only God's thoughts toward others. Each person is unique...and forgiven by God. Want God's best for them.

Gentleness - Treat others the way you want to be treated...no matter how you feel toward them. You will soon begin to feel Gentleness because your nature is Love and you have decided to act Kindness.

Serenity

Goodness - Only God is good, but you are born again of His nature. Your true nature is Goodness. Allow goodness to flow outward from spirit to soul to body.

Self Control -  Decide to be all you can be. Let the Holy Spirit show you God's Blueprint for your life. Remember that God is the Master Builder. Cooperate with Him.

Peace - Know that Jesus is your Lord and is bringing you to perfection in His time and in His way.

 Happiness

Faith - Trust that God wants the very best for you. Decide to receive all God has for you.

Patience - Remind yourself that the only thing which can keep God's promises from coming to you is to quit believing. Never give up; refuse any thought which 
doubts God's love for you.

Joy - The Joy of the Lord is your strength. He has Joy because He knows the outcome. He knows that the victory is already won. Let His Joy flood your emotions, driving out all temporary sorrow.

Nutritional Information

Poisonous Fruits

Sexual Immorality - May have attractive coloring and initial pleasant taste. Will kill taste buds and leave victim unable to enjoy healthy fruit which looks similar.

Impurity - May be recognized only with first taste. If spit out at once, no harm will come. If fruit is taken in more than this initial quantity, the unhealthy quality will be unrecognizable.

Debauchery - Addictive. Affects all systems of human life. Will be fatal eventually.

Idolatry - Can be recognized by overwhelming and enticing odor. There are several varieties, among them: Fame, Wealth, Power, Romance, Acceptance, and Pleasure (which comes in several flavors).

Witchcraft - Two varieties of this poisonous fruit look totally different. The first is black and obviously evil looking. The second can fool the most sincere cook. The results of ingestion may be seen in attempts to control others by word or deed. At the first sign that this fruit has made its way into your kitchen, get rid of it!

Hatred - Grows on vines which will eventually take over your entire garden, your yard, and everything in your neighborhood. If rooted out and burned when small, it can be easily eliminated. Very difficult later.

Discord - Often sown on purpose by cooks who have become addicted to the fruit Idolatry, variety Power.

Jealousy - A normal looking fruit which starts out very small and grows to gigantic proportions.

Rage - Not attractive to anyone. But those who have grown up with it as a regional vegetation may be addicted and not realize that it can be rooted out.

Ambition - Hardy fruit; will grow in all seasons and all climates.

Dissensions - Another vine fruit which will eventually choke out all other plant life in your garden.

Factions - Usually grown on purpose by experts. Deadly.

Envy - This fruit is small and can easily make its way into your garden unnoticed. It will dilute the quality of all other vegetation if allowed to stay.

Drunkenness - A fruit often spied by lonely travelers on their journey. Many of these travelers gather together to eat it , but it leaves them more lonely than before. Can lead to acts of violence. Physically harmful.

Orgies - Another fruit often partaken in company with others. Leads to loss of self control and mental ability.

GOD IS LOVE

L - Life - God gives me Life. He also gives me free will to do with that life what I choose. If I give it back to Him for Him to make it perfect, I will live forever in harmony with Him.

O - Overcome - God has overcome all the enemies of Life. He has put me in
right standing with Himself. If I choose not to let anything or anyone else have power over me, I can be free from all my enemies.

V - Vengeance
- Vengeance belongs to God. He takes vengeance on the devil, the enemy of us all and the source of all evil. God will make all things come out right in His time and in His way. He is merciful to me and He is merciful to other people.

E - Enjoys - God enjoys me. He created me for fellowship with Himself. It is the devil who is the accuser. God is the forgiver. He loves and delights in me.

I AM LOVE

God is love. I am a child of God. Therefore my true nature is Love.

I am patient.

I am kind.

I am not envious.

I do not boast.

I am not proud.

I am not rude.

I am not selfish.

I am not easily angered.

I don't hold grudges.

I don't like evil.

I rejoice in truth.

I protect.

I trust.

I hope.

I never give up.

I never fail.

This is who I am, my true nature. If a thought or a feeling comes that is opposed to this truth about me, I cast it down because it is a lie from the enemy, a temptation to act in a way that is not really me, God's child.

My true nature is Love.
