Realizing Who We Are In Christ

Date: Fri Mar 12, 1999 3:16am

Emily,

When I got your email the other day my heart began to mourn for you. You need to realize that you are a child of God and that as His daughter you have all the privelages that every other PRINCESS has. Know that you are a Princess. You need to read these verses every day for 30 days and I promise that they will begin to transform your life little by little. See it is the WORD of God that causes that transformation. We are "transformed by the renewing of our minds" and these verses will renew your mind. As some wise person once said, "We are full of stinkin' thinkin'." Another good application would be the quote, "Garbage in ~ Garbage out!" What you put in your mind is what you are going to get out. This was a very hard lesson for me being raised in a negative & critical family. Nothing ever seemed to be good enough. But when I realized that we didn't have to be "good enough" for God, it changed my life.

So here are the transforming verses and words of Life instead of words of Death. Remember the 'toungue is a little member, but has within it the power of life and death.' Watch your words. Watch your thoughts. Take 'every thought captive' and give it to Jesus. He paid the price for every one of your sins. You are free to live. Free to have life eternal through Him. Cover yourself with His blood, accept His forgiveness and begin a new fresh beginning in Him TODAY... is the acceptable day of salvation. TODAY is the first day of the rest of your life... what will you do with it?

I am...

There are thousands of these. You go through the Bible and find ones  that speak to you. They will and then you learn them and put them in your spirit so they will be there for you when you need them.

Read about the Woman at the Well. I was so much like her. But Jesus didn't go into the multitudes, He went to her, He offered her, a sinful woman that Living Water, He offered Himself, He offered personal communion with her, He offered His love, His forgiveness, He offered her a chance to repent and speak forth the truth and make it a confession about her sinful state of life. He offered her hope, a second chance at life... He offered eternity.

What more could any woman want or need. Read it several times, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the truths in this beautiful passage. Jesus offers us all we will ever need and then some. Trust in Him. Allow Him to clean you up and wash you with His precious blood. Accept Him not only as your Savior & Redeemer, but as your Husband and your Best FRIEND as well. He is all of these. When we begin to have a personal relationship with Him as friend, brother, lover of our souls our lives are never the same. We are transformed forever ~ NEVER to be the same.

Bless you my sister, you are welcome here, we are here for you.
