Eternal Life

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness; according unto
the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me
thoroughly from mind iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1,2

We are all sinners. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the
glory of God." If you say you have no sin you lie. We are born into a sinful
nature and the sins of our forefathers are imputed to us for up to three or
four generations. But righteousness is imputed for up to one thousand
generations. Hallelujah!

We have only two choices now that we know we are sinners. Repent of our
sins, which means to realize that we are sinner and to turn from those
things that are not right. God said He wrote His laws upon the tablets of
our hearts. This means we know right from wrong. We don't need someone to
teach us that murdering or stealing or lying is wrong. We know it is. The
other choice is to continue in your sin, denying it and not turning from it.

With the first choice we are assured that if we confess our sins God is
faithful to forgive them and blot them out of the record book in heaven.
With the second choice we leave God no choice but to condemn us to a second

John 3:16 is the Good News that we should all share. "For God so loved the
world [that's you] that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus] that whosoever
believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

Confess your sins, believe in Jesus and you shall be saved. It's that
simple. Open your heart today to accept God's love and be changed in an
instant from a child of darkness to a child of Light. Be translated into
God's kingdom and be assured that you will live forever with everlasting
life.

Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I confess You with my mouth, I ask You to
come into my life and save me from the second death. I confess that I am a
sinner. Wash my sins away Jesus. Blot them out of the book and remember them
no more. Give me peace and hope and joy and help me to learn about You and
become more like You. Thank You for giving us eternal life. I receive it
today as my free gift. In Jesus' Name.
Amen.
