A TIME TO LEARN
(ECCLESIASTES 3:1-11)
When I was young, slouching at a wooden desk. Ignoring jumbled facts that strained to break monotony, I wasted years of opportunity, too addle-brained to comprehend the cost to my integrity.
But now, my opened spirit free to grow beyond discouragement, I cannot help but drench myself with wisdom that captures me. There is little now that pleases beyond the luxury to study learning. Reclining at the feet of Jesus.
Time, its limits set within our world, is now the one impediment to taking in the depth of all there is to learn.
But now, I know with certainty, the greatest teacher has yet to set within our hearts eternity. We thank you that the strictures of our human experience cannot limit the infinite giftedness of your grace. Here, for use, great God of Heaven, we dedicate our unfettered attention to the lessons You have given.
