SHIELD OF FAITH

S is for Salvation; for us it was bought,
H is for Holiness; without we have naught.
I is for Into our dear savior's arms,
E is for Evil we can't pay for with alms.
L is for Love that Jesus has given,
D is for Doing His will in our living.

O is for Over death's door we must glide,
F is for Fear not, for He's by our side.

F is for Father in Heaven above,
A is for Always He gives us His love.
I is for Innocence of the Lamb that was slain,
T is for Tears that He shed not in vain.
H is for Heaven; the Bridegroom awaits,
To usher us through the great Pearly Gates.
