VOICE OF THE BRIDEGROOM

  "And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord." Hosea 2: 19,20

VOICE OF THE BRIDE

  The Lord has promised to make us one with Himself, one with His nature and character. (I Cor. 15:45)

  He begins that process in each of us as we accept what He did on the cross when He was made sin so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. These souls of ours receive the Light of Life and the transformation begins. (II Cor. 5:21)

  He continues the process of bringing about our oneness with Him by transforming our minds. He makes us one with Him in judgment by giving us the mind of Christ and sharing His wisdom with us. (I Cor. 1:30 and 2:16; James 1:5)

  The Lord leads us in the paths of righteousness, prompting us to do the acts of mercy and service that He wishes to accomplish to help others. Lovingkindness is performing acts of love, no matter how we feel. (Ephesians 4:28 - 5:2)

  As we act in obedience to Love Himself, our very emotions are changed and we find ourselves one with Him in mercies, in compassion. (Romans 5:5) 

  He will even make us one with Himself in faithfulness - no longer will we be excited Christians one day and apathetic the next. We will be like Himself, the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Eph. 4:14, 15; Heb. 13:8)

  We shall know our Lord, perceive Him perfectly and understand Him completely. We shall know as we are known. (I Cor. 3:12)

     VOICE OF JOY MINISTRIES began in 1979 as a transdenominational cooperative effort to prepare the Bride of Christ for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. (Rev. 19:7-9). Under the direction of it's founder, Amy Barkman, VOICE OF JOY has several departments.

FUN TO BE ONE CLUB 

     The FUN TO BE ONE CLUB establishes programs of cooperation between individual Christians, Churches, and denominations for two purposes: 
     1. Combined outreach to the physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually needy. 
     2. Promotion of harmony, understanding and love within the body of Christ.

LIVING PARABLES 

     A Christian Theatrical Troupe performs modern day parables relating to scripture passages and truths, including story telling, drama, and dance. The troupe involves men, women, and children from all denominations.

     VOICE OF JOY will work with any group with program suggestions and ideas for community projects. The FUN TO BE ONE CLUB and LIVING PARABLES may each become a franchise affiliate for your local community group in adherence to this ministry's guidelines. FUN TO BE ONE CLUB groups often oversee or work with LIVING PARABLES troupes as part of their outreach. Guidelines will be given upon request.

WORDTHERAPY

      WORDTHERAPY provides times and places of conference and retreat as well as weekly Bible studies and is available to come to your community with several program options.
     One such option, Christian MIKVAH (traditional Jewish purification ritual bath) is a powerful format for a Women's Retreat based on the scripture in Ephesians 5:23 - 27 "Christ loved the church and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word." 
      WORDTHERAPY Conferences are for all, men and women, who have a true thirst for the deep things of God's Word.
     WORDTHERAPY ministry training is offered to those who wish to be certified in that ministry and affiliated with VOICE OF JOY.

THE KING'S SHOPPE

     VOICE OF JOY publishes and markets skits, monologues, and church programs to be combined with hymns and praise choruses for special occasions. Videos are being developed with instructions for "A Time To Dance" by our own sacred dance worship leader and instructor, Susie Banks.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

     VOICE OF JOY MINISTRIES BELIEVES THAT ALL CHRISTIANS SHOULD BE ABLE TO AGREE ON THESE BASIC TENETS OF FAITH:
     1. All people need the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be in right standing with God the Father.
     2. The Bible is the Word of God, the ordained communication link between heaven and earth by which all other communication must be weighed and judged.
     3. Christians are called to be vessels of the Love of God in the earth.
         The last thing that the Lord Jesus prayed before He went out to His passion was that we become one even as He and the Father are one so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. Voice of Joy Ministries believes that unity of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and loving harmony among Christians which transcends their individual doctrines is an essential part of bringing about the cleansing of the Bride, the Body of Christ. John 17:20-26, Eph.4:11-16
